This family also lost another 20-year-old niece last year in a car accident as well. Pray for God’s touch of comfort and peace to be upon them in this difficult time. -Continue to pray for Anthony Flick, the Stone girls, and our community as we recover from the tragic shootings of a week ago. Pray that God’s touch of healing would be swift and complete and that this event may be something that brings our community closer together. -Pray for the work team from our church leaving for Bethany Birches Camp later today. Pray for a great week of work and safety for the entire trip. The purpose of the contest is to promote youth awareness of and interest in Eastern Pennsylvania history. The contest is open to students in public, private, and home school. Essays must be written about Eastern Pennsylvania history – for example, topics could deal with religion, biography, cultural trends, occupations such as farming or Philadelphia marketing, major events such as disasters like train wrecks and fires, etc, founding of an institution, etc. The prizes are: First place $500; Second place $250; and Third place $250.
