Conduct of Total Defence Lessons (Changes from 2015) Current Practice From 2015 TD Lessons are conducted solely during CCA lessons, following the SOW provided by NEXUSMINDEF Three options to choose: 1. TD Lesson Packages 2. Total Defence Day Lessons & Activities in school 3. Packages from Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) TD Assessment is solely based on guidelines by NEXUS-MINDEF Teachers can choose: 1. Follow guidelines from NEXUS-MINDEF 2. Modify assessment guidelines that suit the needs of students 3. Assessment by SDC Submission of forms need to sign, affix school stamp and scan.  Hardcopy to sign & stamp to claim badges.  Submit softcopy to apply badges, no signature & stamp is required. Conducting Total Defence Assessment… Based on feedback by schools, we have decided to change how assessment can be done. Teachers will briefly describe how the assessment for Bronze and Silver badge programmes are conducted. Examples: : Model Making / Show and Tell / Assessment is conducted by Singapore Discovery Centre : Lesson & Assessment at Discovery Centre / Reflection Exercise for Learning Journey at <place> / Reflections after Civil Defence Course conduct on <current date>. Conducting Total Defence Assessment… Assessment for will remain as Role Play. Teachers will conduct the assessment while officers can play the role of instructors / facilitators to conduct the refresher lesson at the start of the Gold Badge programme. For Part 3 of the Assessment, only CSSP and Community Service will remain. Explorally has been removed (no longer organised) CSSP can be done with SPF or SCDF (as a collaboration) Community Service criteria will remain unchanged.
