Chapter Events Calendar We will be having our annual tech seminar and judging school at the Ed Foss collection headquarters. We will be having a tech seminar on tires. Our judging school will have 2 lifts with a 98 Pace Car and a Challenge car for judging. I should have a copy of the manual for 97-99 judging to check and use with the school. Ed has offered to put one of his Challenge cars on the lift for judging and learning. After the convention in July, our chapter meet in August will be offering classes to judge for 97-99. We will need this experience to learn about these cars. Events we have had for October to December Our Sponsors Our Spring Meet Technical Article Submitting Articles Have Questions? I have a 63 L-76 in which I have always used AC-44 heat range plugs, be it AC or Champion. As best I can tell, by my cross reference chart, the B6 is the equivalent heat range. My question is does the "S" designate power tip like it did with the Ac's, and can/should I use them on my next plug change? Stu Fox Re: Possible Replacement Spark Plugs B6S is equivalent to AC 44. The "S" indicates a "standard 2.5 mm center electrode". I recommend the B4 or Denso W14-U (both equivalent to the AC 45) for your application. Duke Williams Re: Possible Replacement Spark Plugs I've found the NGK XR-4 plugs are excellent in both my '61 and '63 original motors... The '44s are too cold in my cars...
