NEW CARS FOR SALE
2014 STINGRAY WITH COMPETITION BUCKET SEATS HAVE A POTENTIAL RECALL DUE TO PASSENGER
SIDE (SIDE IMPACT AIRBAG). RECALL LETTERS STARTED GOING OUT ON 7 AUGUST TO POTENTIAL
PROBLEM CARS. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER ON THE COMPETITION BUCKET SEATS,
YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET ONE.
2015 VETTES HAVE A POTENTIAL RECALL COMING OUT ON EMERGENCY BRAKE CABLE (NOT
CONNECTED). IF YOU HAVE A 2015 AND IT IS SUSPECTED TO BE IN THE RECALL SPECS, YOU WILL BE
GETTING A LETTER. EASY TEST IS TO PULL THE EMERGENCY BRAKE OUT AND PUT THE CAR IN GEAR
AND SEE IF CAR PULLS AWAY AT IDLE RPM. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T DO THE TEST IN
YOUR GARAGE, PUT IT ON THE STREET AND DO IT.
