Welcome to the 2015 Girl Scout Cookie Program!
Dear Girl Scout Family:
Once again, this year instead of taking pre-orders and waiting for cookies to
be delivered, girls will sell cookies to customers with cookies in hand from the
start. All girls are invited to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program. The
Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama can provide the Girl Scout program to
girls largely due to the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Selling cookies is an important part of the Girl Scout experience and one your daughter will remember
forever.
You can help make this year’s Girl Scout Cookie Program a success! Support your Girl Scout by:
yy Completing and returning this permission form. All girls must be registered Girl Scouts.
yy Making sure you meet all deadlines given to you by the troop cookie manager.
yy Making sure you and your child attend training and understand what her troop is planning to do with the
proceeds they earn.
yy Remembering that the income from the Girl Scout Cookie Program does not become the property of individual
girl members. Girls, however, may be eligible for rewards or credits that they put toward Girl Scout activities.
yy Helping your Girl Scout network with family and friends, but let her do the “ask” so she can learn important
business skills.
yy Helping your child learn everything she needs to know about the cookies she is selling. Review important details
found on her order card.
yy Emphasizing safety at all times.
yy Ensure there is no order-taking before January 16, 2015.

in your troop will earn a Samoa 40th anniversary bling
T-shirt along with two adult T-shirts.

If you troop is eligible to earn the initial order incentive, follow the steps
below.
1. Calculate your Troop per Girl Average using the formula above.
2. Fill out the Initial Order Reward using the Rewards tab in eBudde.
3. Submit the order by the deadline so that the prizes may be ordered
for your girls.

Cookie Dough/Credits
Cookie credits at all range levels will double when used for council
resident camp. All girls will have the option to choose either to receive
cookie credits or rewards. Cookie credits may be used for any Girl
Scout program offered by GSNCA (including trips) and in a council
shop. Cookie credits cannot be replaced if lost or stolen and is valid
through December 15, 2015. Girls taking cookie credits will still receive
a theme patch.

S/A travel credits are ONLY for girls in grades 9–12. S/A travel credits
can be used to pay for council-sponsored trips or GSNCA destinations
(ex: Savannah, Gulf Islands National Seashore). More travel program
information is listed in Pathway Opportunities. The amounts listed
below will be the actual amount of S/A travel credits the girl will receive
at that level.

Troop Proceeds Only
Only Junior, Cadette, Senior and Ambassador troops have the option
to choose Troop Proceeds Only by majority girl votes. Parents must be
