NBiographyM FourteGuitar is the guitar quartet of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Formed by Jorge Calaf, Félix Del Valle, Jehú Otero and Lemuel Lugo, this quartet brings to the public a classical musical repertoire of the highest level. The e quartet has taken lessons from internationally acclaimed artists like: Iván Rijos, Alberto Rodríguez Ortiz, Manuel Barrueco, Carlos Barbosa Lima, Remi Boucher, Pepe Romero, Celín Romero, Lito Romero, Celino Romero and the distinguished Puerto Rican composer Ernesto Cordero; all of which have praised the talent and the professionalism of the group. In the summer of 2013 and 2014, they participated in the Celedonio Romero Guitar Institute in Oklahoma City, USA. FourteGuitar has appeared in concert in different prestigious concert halls throughout Puerto Rico, including the Jesús María Sanromá Theatre at the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico, the Ponce Museum of Art, the theatre of the Universidad Interamericana of Puerto Rico in Bayamón, the Museo de las Américas, América Theater, Condado en Concierto, Casa de España, and la Capilla Mayor de la Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, together with the prestigious choir Orfeón San Juan Bautista. They also In this prestigious event, they had the opportunity of collaborating with The Romeros, the most prestigious guitar quartet in the world. Upon hearing the quartet's interpretations, The Romeros claimed: "You guys are a great ensemble. You have the spirit and the fire of a had the honor of playing a musical homage dedicated to Marta Casals, at the Luis Muñoz Marín Foundation. In U.S.A. they have appeared in the Cantrell Music Hall in Southern Nazarene University of Oklahoma City, and the Petree Recital Hall of Oklahoma City University. great quartet!" During the Institute´s final concert, FourteGuitar had the great opportunity to share the stage with Pepe Romero.
