The TP-FX single crank stamping press series
-The ultimate high flexibility solution-
AMADA (President and CEO: Mitsuo Okamoto) has released its new single crank stamping press
TP-FX series of six models (press capacity from 450 kN to 2000 kN).
The TP-FX series are the latest models, inherited from the “TP series” of general crank stamping
presses that has been commercialized since 1965. This new FX series meets the needs of digital
networking and implements a real visualization of operation status and maintenance information, in
addition to the existing functionalities that addressed the processing needs of our customers.
Energy saving measures are implemented as well, such as the eco-counter and the eco-idling
functions, resulting in enhanced energy efficiency. The TP-FX series are applicable for “taxation
incentive for equipment investment in productivity enhancement”.
[ Main features of TP-FX series]
1. Flexibility
・ Excellent flexibility from single operation of blanking, bending and drawing to automated
progressive processing.
・ These new high flexibility machines meet ISO 13849 (machine structure standards).
2. Functionality
. Better visibility and operability due to TFT LCD as standard.
. Eco-counter and eco-idling functions as standard.
■ Eco-counter function --- When the production counter reaches the setting quantities, motor
automatically shifts to idling mode, resulting in economical power consumption.
■ Eco-idling function --- When stand-by time reaches the setting time, the motor automatically shifts

to idling mode, resulting in economical power consumption.
(Compared to current models, power consumption is reduced by 15.7% with the new TP-80FX and
by 36.9% with the new TP-150FX model.)
3. Futurity (Next generation technology)
. Press operation status and maintenance information are visualized on a panel PC. Ethernet is fitted
as standard.

Many stamping press machines are thought to be more than a decade old and replacement demands
are highly expected. AMADA offers the new TP-FX series to support the press processing needs of our
customers. We are planning to release link motion type and double crank type of FX series.
