About the project… The project Integrating civil society generational perspectives in combating all forms of discrimination against women and girls, aims at breaking down stereotypes by targeting respectively childhood, adolescence and adulthood trough an intergenerational approach. We shared project obectives, aims and we planned together our next steps! The drawing days From March to April 2013 we have organized drawing days workshops with over 250 children, in 3 elementary schools; Prva Osnonva škola Stolac, Osnovna škola Stolac and Osnovna škola Njegoš, in Berkovići, in all grades (1st grade –9th grade) . At the beginning of each workshop the topics of violence, discrimination, gender have been introduced by a gender expert in order to motivate children and get them involved in the drawings activity attended by the project staff and teachers: After this workshops of preparation, children have been let free to draw and to express their feelings and their imagination trough papers and colours. Materials used have been white and colour paper, crayons and tempera and children used the free technique of drawing on the theme of women's rights against all forms of discrimination against women and girls. Children have been let free to talk and discuss while drawing, asking specific questions and providing answers to questions made by the project staff. The partnership Association Orhideja is a women association which has been established 10 years ago in Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through non formal education Orhideja work on economic development of womens and support women to start to be independent.
