The agency
becc agency GmbH is an owner-managed brand and design agency based in Munich. The agency
advises its clients on every aspect of brand management. Its services range from brand development and positioning, global brand staging at trade fairs to events and in-store presences as well
as the development of communication concepts. The agency’s clients include SMEs and international companies, such as the BMW Group and ŠKODA AUTO. The agency has won numerous
awards in the past for its work. In 2013, for example, it won the Red Dot Design Award for the
BMW Brand Store in Paris and the German Design Award 2014 for the ŠKODA trade fair presence
at the IAA (2011). In 2012, the brand and design agency won nine awards, including the iF Communication Design Award for Brand Identity and the Brand Design of BMW i. At the Automotive
Brand Contest 2012, becc was also crowned as “Agency of the Year”. The agency was founded in
2006 by Jochen Trabert, Sabine Kraus and Leif Geuder. In 2013, the team of managing directors
was increased with Katharina Kraus and Metin Seyrek. The agency currently employs 70 staff.

Founded with a belief in strong brands
Brands need consistent and credible management to anchor themselves in the minds of their target groups. The becc agency also builds on this: Even before the company was founded, Jochen
Trabert, Sabine Kraus and Leif Geuder were working together on brand staging and development.
On behalf of the AGW agency, they were staging brands such as ŠKODA at major international
trade fairs from the mid-1990s onwards. Towards the end of the millennium, Leif Geuder moved
to Interbrand Zintzmeyer & Lux, where, among other things, he was responsible for establishing
the Munich office in his role as Creative Director. After a few years with the brand specialists, he
returned in 2005 as a freelance consultant to the team led by Sabine Kraus and Jochen Trabert.
In mid-2006, the team of three transferred their expertise in brand development and staging to
the becc agency. Since it was founded, the agency has developed unique brand images in terms
of concept, communication, design and space. In just a short space of time, the three founders,
thanks to their expertise, were able to win new customers such as ŠKODA AUTO and the BMW
Group with their brands. The management team has since consistently expanded the agency and
its brand. It relies on a mixture of unconventional creative ideas in the domain of brand management, end-to-end communication concepts with powerful content and first-class professional
support. In 2013, the management team appointment long-term employees Katharina Kraus and
Metin Seyrek to its management board in order to safeguard the company’s further growth.
