CONVERSATION EVENING WITH ROSEMARY
The Beautiful Game is how Brazilian Football star Pelé once described the
sport and to coin the English proverb “If you can’t beat them, join them”, we
will look at some aspects and the impact of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Bring
along anything you can find of interest in the media: photos, reports,
advertisments. It is a topic no-one can avoid at present even if you have no
idea about or interest in football/soccer. This program is free of cost.

AFN & GARY BAUTELL- A telling of history at the DAZ
Talk with Gary Bautell, the voice of AFN Europe for years. His voice on AFN –
the American Forces Network Europe has been on the air broadcasting to
several generations of U.S. Military personnel as well as millions of German
households since the 1960’s. His visit and talk at the DAZ Stuttgart will cover
his work experiences as well as the AFN history. Gary will reflect on the
beginning of AFN and the importance it played in German-American Relations
over the years. While providing U.S. Military personnel and their families with
news and entertainment, AFN also played a prominent role in GermanAmerican friendship.
We look forward to your participation in this DAZ program.

DER SOMMER IM ZÜBLIN-HAUS – concerts, musicals, opera etc.
In the summer months the Züblin-Haus offers a variety of events which can be

On Sunday at 19:00h the Orchestervereinigung Möhringen und Motettenchor
Stuttgart are performing a summer concert free of cost for those wishing to
attend.
