The Integration of
Behavioral Health
and
Medical Health
Thursday, April 3, 2014 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
Westin Copley Place • Boston, MA
This year the Massachusetts Health Council’s Annual
Conference will address the topic of integrating
behavioral and medical health care. Increasingly
the health reform movement nationally and here in
Massachusetts is shining a light on the central role
of behavioral health care in the health care system,
and to critical questions regarding access to and
financing of high quality behavioral health care. The
integration of behavioral health care with general
medicine, and in particular primary care, is a crucial
aspect of the overall system transformation that has
been imagined by policy makers and clinical leaders
alike. This conference will bring stakeholders from
multiple sectors together to discuss clinical models,
cultural considerations, and payment designs related
to the delivery of integrated care. We invite you to join
the conversation and become part of the movement
to support and strengthen behavioral health care in
Massachusetts.
Our afternoon session will be both inspirational and
uplifting as those who have lived with behavioral
health issues tell their personal journeys from illness
to success. This is a program you don’t want to miss!
