Who is the facilitator?
The Group Facilitator is a Masters’
Level, State-Licensed Counselor
experienced and trained in working
with adolescents and their families
treating a wide variety of mental
health and substance abuse issues.

What kind of treatment is used?
Chandler
This program addresses the mental
health issues of adolescents. It
includes topics such as making
better choices, coping strategies,
anger management and educational,
familial and social struggles.

When does the group meet?
The group meets three times a
week. Please consult the Program
Counselor for specific days and times.
How are parents involved?
For more than 30 years, Banner
Behavioral Health has provided a
nationally recognized, behavioral
health care program for adolescents
and teens faced with psychiatric,
behavioral health or chemical
dependency challenges. We
are dedicated to providing safe,
confidential and compassionate
treatment.
Ongoing communication with
parents is imperative throughout
the program. Parents/guardians are
strongly encouraged to attend the
Family Group with their adolescent,
the Adolescent Group Leader and
the Family Counselor once a week.

who have similar issues and are
