This is the Follies Small Act list for 2014. We have not
assigned which show any solo or duet will perform on,
just the quartets and trios which will perform on both.
There is NO order. This is just a list.
Additionally, there are class solos which some people will
perform who may have auditioned and are not on this
list.
In some cases, we needed different songs and have
combined some solos into groups so we can still highlight
that solo talent, but in a way that engages the audience.
Those auditioning solos NOT selected are automatically
the first acts at Coffeehouse which we will schedule by
week’s end.
A rehearsal schedule with an act number will be posted
by tomorrow afternoon. If you cannot make a scheduled
rehearsal, trade with another act. I will be rehearsing
morning and afternoons from here out, so you will have
ample opportunity to work with your
accompanist/director in the next 2 weeks.
Finally, if you are singing to a track, I MUST have that in
my possession before you leave school on Friday. We
also must know where we are cutting each song.
A tentative schedule of performances (2/7) will also be
posted Friday. Again, the order will be determined by the
musical flow of each show. If you have special
requests/considerations, you are certainly welcome to
ask. It may not be possible, but we will make effort to
help.
Thank you to ALL who tried out. We think we have an
entertaining show that folks are going to LOVE!!!!! Thank
you all for being such amazing young people!
