Bryan Vollmer came to the Canadian ATV MX Team for a change in scenery and to rediscover his love for the sport. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a laid back “good vibe” feeling to the team! Bryan Vollmer has been down in Florida training on his Team Vollmer Yamaha’s with Cody since the beginning of February. He’s very motivated and going the extra mile to get himself and his ATV to the next level for the 2014 season kickoff. Here is Bryan’s thoughts on the upcoming AMA National season. “Iʼve been having an amazing time here in Florida. Been riding almost everyday. I feel better, faster and learn more every time I put laps in on my Yamaha. My mechanic Mark Lossing came too help do suspension set up with me and now we have the Yamaha dialed in and ready to race. Cody Withey and I have been stationed in Bartow Florida riding at Bartow MX. We had the pleasure of Sean Mitchell grace us with his presence for two weeks and all had great times riding and training together. We have also been making an appearance at Sunshine MX In Clearwater to do some night riding which has been pretty cool. On our days off we head to a Rec center for a good workout, tennis and some basketball (really need too sharpen up on my basketball skills). Really looking forward to round #1 at Aonia pass on March 22 and am feeling really confident and comfortable on the bike. Cant wait for the gate too drop!” Bryan Vollmer has been spotted throughout Florida training on his Team Vollmer Yamaha’s and is looking better then he ever has! He’s got a new and improved motor program, better suspension setup then 2013, and has been able to ride and train with his teammate and good friend Cody Withey. All the cards are in his hand, and all that is left is the gate drop! Both Bryan and Cody not only have been training down south, but they have been promoting ATV’ing in general handing out posters, Stickers and hanging out daily with local kids that share the same love of the sport! ATVing could use more roll models like these guys! 3 Lorem Ipsum Dolor Spring 2012 Sean Mitchell #177 Hungry for More! Sean Mitchell is kicking off the 2014 season as motivated as he ever has been. He joined his teammates Bryan Vollmer and Cody Withey in Florida for 2 weeks of preseason training to get things dialed in for the AMA National season! Here is how Sean’s preseason training went and how he feels for the upcoming opening round. “I came down and met up with the boys at Bartow Florida and was super excited to ride after the 25 hour journey south. First day of Riding I ran into some issues with a brand new motor that cost me a few days, but once we got some gremlins worked out I was able to ride hard! I had a blast and feel better going into this year then last. I’m now on a familiar bike with a great motor program, suspension that’s dialed in, and I know I am in the best shape I’ve ever been in! This is gonna be a great year and I am really looking forward to progressing and showing people what I can do!” Unlike last year, Sean will be able to race every AMA round for the 2014 season, and is planning on being in the championship hunt by Loretta Lynn’s! If all else is unclear, one thing is for certain, the Canadians that are heading down to compete in the most competitive series in the world are there to represent themselves and the people they love. Racer’s are a different breed, and each racer has there own individual goals in which they motivate themselves to accomplish. Without competition and selfdetermination, motocross racers would have no justification for putting their lives on the line, their bank accounts hovering the red, and their personal lives taking the back seat. This is what makes racers compete, and what brings the most colorful personalities to the track… This is the 2014 AMA Mountain Dew Nationals, and its time to go Racing! 4 New Things for 2014 There have been a lot of changes this year for the Canadian ATV MX Team and the team is taking the 2014 season to really put a big push on the promotion of the Athletes, and the promotion of the sport itself. Make sure you keep an eye open on the Canadian ATV website www.canadianatvmx.com for news, information and schedules of events around Canada that you can head to to watch, or take part in! The guys will be at as many CMRC events as they can be and are looking to take part in a number of “weekend Warrior” type events in collaboration with more local ATV clubs! “We are looking to promote the sport all round, whether you ride Utility ATV’s, UTV’s, Race MX, Cross Country, TT, Whatever! Doesn’t matter what or how you ride, just that you ride!”
