NEWS FROM THE PRINCIPAL
We have a number of new enrolments for 2015 and welcome them to our
Free Dress Day—Make wonderful community! A number of our new families have commented on
a Donation (Toys/Books/ wanting to enrol at Yokine Primary Independent Public School as they have
heard how wonderful it is. What a great commendation for our community.

functions occurring and look forward to sharing these as we celebrate our

At next week’s assembly we will be announcing the names of our Student
Leaders and Factions Leaders for 2015. All students who wished to be part

Graduation Assembly
The Year 6 & 7 Graduation Ceremony will be
held on Wednesday 17th December at 9 am.
There will be tea and coffee served after the
conclusion of the ceremony.
Parent Survey
Thank you to those parents who have taken the time to complete our parent
satisfaction survey. We are also currently surveying our staff and students.
You are still able to access the survey until the 12th December by clicking on

Board can look at the feedback, reflect on our performance and plan for

2015 WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON
The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is a community
event and non-competitive that assists kids to develop selfesteem. It aims to encourage kids to get fit & active while
having
fun
with
their
friends.
The Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is for kids aged 7 - 15 years.
It doesn't matter if children have participated in the WeetBix Kids TRYathlon Series before or not. The Weet-Bix Kids
TRYathlon is all about TRY-ing your best and having a go!
No times and placings are recorded. There is a limit of 2500
kids who can enter the event.

SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB
Ole Soccer will be running a 3 day soccer holiday club this
summer held at Yokine Primary School. Our program will
be full on fun games where we will teach the children new
skills, develop their game playing abilities and have loads of
fun playing small sided games with our inflatables and
speed radars. Our program is designed for children aged 312 and suits all abilities.
Venue: Yokine Primary School
Dates: January 20th, 21st & 22nd
Times: 9am – 12pm each day
