CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
GENERAL RULES FOR ALL CATAGORIES AND GENRE
1.
All work must be original in concept with copyright at the disposal of the author and available for GBPS exhibition
promotion.
2.
The greatest care will be taken with all entries but GBPS cannot accept responsibility for lose or damage.
3.
Acceptances and awards count towards British Photographic Exhibition Awards, each acceptance gains 1 point.
4.
Re-submission of images that have been accepted in previous GBPS BPE Open exhibitions is not allowed
5.
Entries without payment will NOT be judged and will only be returned on receipt of postage.
6.
Prints should be submitted in packaging suitable for return
7.
Entry of the same image or like image should not be entered in other categories
8.
All accepted entries will receive a copy of the exhibition catalogue and a CD with awarded prints and all accepted
digital images
PRINTS
1.
There are 4 print categories open Mono, open Colour, Nature and Creative, please ensure the correct image is placed in
the correct category
2.
Prints must be mounted up to a maximum of 50cm x 40cm and must be titled along with the authors name and address
on the back
DIGITALLY PROJECTED IMAGES
1.
There are 4 DPI categories open Mono, open Colour, Nature and Creative, please ensure the correct image is placed in
the correct category
NATURE
PAGB Nature Definition
Issue 1, Feb 2013
Nature photography depicts living, untamed animals and uncultivated plants in a natural habitat, geology and the wide
diversity of natural phenomena.
Photographs of animals, which are domesticated, and photographs of cultivated or hybrid plants are ineligible.
Minimal evidence of humans is acceptable for nature subjects, such as barn owls or storks adapting to an environment
modified by humans, or natural forces, like hurricanes or tidal waves, reclaiming it.
Any manipulation or modification is limited to minor retouching and must not alter the truth of the original scene.
MEDALS WILL BE PRESENTED FOR THE FOLLOWING IN EACH CATERGORY
1ST-GOLD, 2ND-SILVER, 3RD-BRONZE
3 JUDGES RIBBONS WILL BE PRESENTED IN EACH CATERGORY
COMMENDED CERTIFICATES FOR EACH CATERGORY IF ENTRIES ALLOW
Our pricing policy has changed, a minimum entry fee of £6 still applies but you can enter
4 images or prints or a combination of each across any or all categories.
Additional prints and images will be charged at £1.50.
UPTO 4 ENTRIES IN EACH CATERGORY
PLUS A 20% DISCOUNT OFF YOUR COMPETITION ENTRY FEE IF YOU TURN UP ON THE
NIGHT TO COLLECT YOUR AWARDS OR PRINTS.

RESULTS
All results will be E-Mailed to applicants on 20th September unless stated otherwise on
the entry form, an appropriate S.A.E with stamp must be sent if results are to be posted.
PLEASE ENSURE CORRECT RETURN POSTAGE AND A FULL RETURN ADDRESS LABEL IS SENT FOR PRINTS.
