Electronically transmits C-CDA using CEHRT to a recipient using Direct or Direct + XDR/XDM transport protocols; 2. Electronically transmits C-CDA using CEHRT to a recipient using SOAP transport protocols; and/or 3. Thus, EPs, eligible hospitals, or CAHs who create standardized summary care records using their CEHRT and then use an eHealth Exchange participant to electronically transmit the summary care record would be able to count all of those transmissions in their numerator.” 8 Lessons from the Field TERESA RIVERA, UHIN 9 MU Resources • ONC and CMS FAQs • https://questions.cms.gov/faq.php?id=5005&faqId=7697. • ONC Resource • http://www.healthit.gov/sites/default/files/toc_exchange_requirements .pdf • ERHA White Paper • http://www.healthewayinc.org/images/Content/Documents/Pap ers/ehrastage2securehealthtransportcertificationandmeaningfulu se.pdf 10 Q&A For more information: Onboarding: http://www.healthewayinc.org/index.php/exchange/onboarding eHealth Exchange Participant Testing: http://www.healthewayinc.org/index.php/exchange/participant-testing E-mail: admin “at” healthewayinc.org 11
