CGA China Events 1. Elected Auditor According to the election regulations and Auditing rules, CGA members who were auditors were asked to volunteer to audit the expenses of each chapter and Steering Committee of year 2013/2014. 5 members applied: 2 from Beijing, 2 from Shanghai and 1 from Guangzhou. The Steering Committee members elected Haofeng Wu, Siwen Yu and Grace Zeng to help to do this audit work. They will start to audit from July. Beijing Chapter 1. Outing – Yinchuan The CGA Beijing Chapter organized an outing to Yinchuan from May 31st to June 2nd, 2014. This 3 day activity included a PD seminar and visits to Yinchuan's popular attractions, and more than 50 members and families attended. During these 3 days, CGA members from different cities were able to meet each other. CGA members had an impressive seminar presented by Chapter Chair Mr. Johnson Chen, and also had a good time visiting in Yinchuan. Issue No. 1
Guangzhou Chapter 1. 2013 Annual Party Feb 22 2013, over 80 CGA members from Guangzhou and Shenzhen have gathered in Conghua Hot Spring Vacation Village to attend 2013 CGA Guangzhou Chapter Annual Party. In addition, we successfully invited Simon Feng from CGA China committee, Jason Tang from CGA SH Chapter and Sandy/Marry/Philips from CGA HK association to address the annual dinner. It was raining and chilly due to the early spring weather, however, the atmosphere was quite warm in the Banquet Hall of the vacation village as one fashion show was in hot stage for all the CGA members. Each CGA member performed cat walk with creative designs in June 2014 CGA‐China Newsletter 3 dress and decoration, very confident with different eye‐catching pose. It was the first fashion show in CGA GZ annual dinner and very impressive. After lunch and joyful lucky draws, Rebecca‐chair of CGA GZ chapter issued CGA certificates to the CGA new members and gave 2013 work summary to the team regarding operation/budget breakdowns/CPD arrangement in CGA GZ Chapter. We also invited Kait Guan‐Vice Chair of CGA GZ Chapter to provide Merge updates in CGA/CPA Canada and Yang JianWei to introduce HK IPO structure and the current status. After dinner, CGA members turned out to enjoy hot spring in the hotel. The next day, CGA members visit Liuxihe National Forest Park and had joyful lunch before coming home, not only with beautiful picture and gifts, but also with friendship and sweet memories. 2. Outing – Chengdu GZ Chapter held an outing activity at April 19th in Chengdu. 12 members and their families
participated. Shanghai Chapter 1. CGA Shanghai Chapter's Wei‐chat went alive in May, which acts as a communication platform for all CGA SH members and with other CGA organizations and the society. 2. Campus Tour ‐ Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics(ZUFE) Shanghai Chapter held the Campus Tour activity at Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics on May. 16th, Richard Xie attended this event, and made a presentation to the students. 3. Campus Tour‐ Ning Bo University Shanghai Chapter held the Campus Tour activity at Ning Bo University on May. 23rd, Cindy Sun and Lily Huang attended this event, and made a presentation to the students. June 21st and 22nd, and went to Mo Ganshan. 57
