Following elections, all officers and chairmen had training and transitions in which they did goal setting for
the year and discussed ways they could collaborate with one another. It was great seeing the girls plan out
these grand ideas, and I am confident that these officers will make Rho proud!
We’re looking forward to Region Weekend which will be held April 4-6, 2014 in Overland Park, Kansas.
We’re excited to share photos, stories, and hopefully news of awards we’ve won when we return.
Our Health & Fitness Chair, Allie Sisson, has encouraged our members to become more active by
providing incentives for sisters who are active on a daily basis or who try something new.

Our Winter semi-formal will
be held on Friday, February
21st at a surprise location.
This is a really fun formal
because sisters set each other up on blind dates. The
person you’ve been set up
with provides the matchmaker with one of his ties.
The matchmaker gives you
your tie on the night of the
event and you wear it a you
go down the stairs in the
house. When your date sees
his tie around your neck he
lets you know that it’s his tie
and that indicates he is your
date for the evening.
We held a sober exchange
with the men of Beta Theta
Pi on February 6th. We
rented a karaoke machine
and every sang their hearts
out.
We’re collaborating with the
alumnae chapter on a career
mentoring program. Keep
your eyes peeled for a career
panel event for the spring.
Our graduating seniors
would love guidance and
advice from our alumnae
members as they try to find
careers and internships.
In the rest of the newsletter
you can see photos from
this past quarter. We hope
you enjoy seeing what we’ve
been up to.
