IB Africa, Europe and the Middle East
The IB is a non-profit Swiss foundation. We cover our operating and development costs by charging
fees for our services. Any surplus we make in providing these services is reinvested back into the
organization in pursuit of our mission.
Face to Face workshops
From August 2014 to August 2015 we offer 17 Regional Events, run by IB
Africa, Europe, Middle East Regional Office. Please find below an overview of
these Events and their fees.
SPECIAL
Early Bird fees will apply for all registrations made 4 months prior to the event start date and overall
registration deadlines are set for all events 6 weeks prior to the event start date.

Payment
Payment should be made upon receipt of the registration acknowledgement e-mail issued
automatically once the registration has been completed via our on-line registration system. In the
event that the IB has to cancel a workshop, the total amount of the registration fee will be
refunded or a credit note will be issued.

Description and services
Any In-school workshop taking place from September 2014 onwards will be charged this fee
per participant per day.
The In-school workshops per participant fee covers the costs associated with workshop
(organization, monitoring and follow-up) training and honorarium of our workshop leaders and
IB's intellectual property. These fees are based on a minimum of 10 participants per workshop.
Where there are fewer than 10 participants, the workshop will be charged as for 10. Workshop
requests made for off-peak months May or December may be eligible for a preferential rate.

After the in-school training, your school will be invoiced by the IB Credit Control:
a fee per participant per day of training
leader’s actual travelling expenses as well as other related incidental costs
