Middle Years Programme Spojena skola Novohradska, Bratislava, Slovakia September 3, 2014 MYP THE NEXT CHAPTER IN SCHOOL YEAR 2014/15 The IB currently reviewed the design of the Middle Years Programme (MYP). The changes to the MYP seek to enhance the underlying strengths of the program, enable more schools to offer the program within national and state systems and align it more closely with the other IB programs in order to provide a coherent educational pathway for students. The MYP has always been characterized by a focus on the development of conceptual understanding through relevant contexts; this will continue to underpin the curriculum planning process.
