Taking Care of Patients – Taking Care of Ourselves: Professional Development Day for Hospice Aides
Designed specifically for Hospice Aides, this day will provide a variety of opportunities for professional development.
Participants will learn about caring for patients with advanced heart disease, learn about select bodily systems and functions
and how they change at the end of life and about how to manage their own stress and anxiety so that they provide the best
care possible to patients and families. These important learning experiences, coupled with opportunities to network and
spend time with peers, will provide a robust day of learning!
Participants begin their day enjoying morning refreshments with colleagues and then attending the conference’s opening
plenary featuring nurse, advocate and superstar Naomi Judd! Following her presentation, participants gather to begin their
day together; please see the schedule below.
