Babinda Kayaking Liam Casey REMINDERS Classic Beauty & Spa Vicky Winkelmuller • Piccones IGA Lyn Cannon Students are not to be away unnecessarily – every class is undergoing tests. Montezuma Hayden Westerhout • CMK Hair Michael Schmidt It’s so hard to catch up children with normal day-to-day work and they are disadvantaged as they’ve missed the teacher instruction. Tuff Tyres Cass Pajor • Many children seem tired after weekends so please ensure they are well rested and go to bed early the night before school days. Crystal Caves Winters family • Please do not plan holidays out of school holiday times. It is hard to find time to reteach your child when they miss vital lessons. • Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for school. This means no nail polish or jewellery and hair is tied back neatly and off the face. Distractions, such as these, are a hindrance to learning and can create an atmosphere of one-upmanship for some students. It also makes life difficult for those parents who do dress their children correctly, as they then have to address this issue at home.
