Thank you to our TRIVIA NIGHT SPONSORS
What a fantasc evening of hilarity! If you missed
it then be sure to come along next me. A huge
thank you to our Coordinator, Krisna Cannon who
put in a mighty effort with her team. Kristen
Thomas, Jenny Be=ni, Rachael Fairweather & Amy
Way worked their magic and were able to score
some magnificent prizes for our aucon and we
raised about $10 000 – all for our students and to
add that very special touch to our school. We call
it the “icing on the cake”!
Bernie Triggs, the MC for the night was resplendent
and absolutely hilarious! Linda Morris (Krisna’s
mum), did a fabulous job with the trivia quesons
and we could go on and on with the thank
yous. So many parents helped and joined in the
fun.
The catering and decorang crew did an amazing
job and all who came to the Trivia Night were
gobsmacked with the magnitude of the
event!
We parcularly thank those who are not
parents at the school and worked
relessly all night as well as many hours
before and a;er. We thank all volunteers
and businesses who supported us in our
fund raising effort. Please support them
in turn.
We now have an addional
$10 000 in P & C funds to be
spent on our children.

It’s so hard to catch up children with normal day-to-day work and
they are disadvantaged as they’ve missed the teacher instruction.

Many children seem tired after weekends so please ensure they
are well rested and go to bed early the night before school days.

•
Please do not plan holidays out of school holiday times. It is hard
to find time to reteach your child when they miss vital lessons.
•
Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for school. This
means no nail polish or jewellery and hair is tied back neatly and
off the face. Distractions, such as these, are a hindrance to
learning and can create an atmosphere of one-upmanship for
some students. It also makes life difficult for those parents who do
dress their children correctly, as they then have to address this
issue at home.
