RULES
The Festival will take place on august,12th in Ravello at prestigious auditorium Niemeyer
Each participant has to perform one song (no longer than four minutes) of his/her own choice with
"live" vocal and a half playback on CD.
The song must be with an original music (rock,dance or pop) and lyrics (it has to be available both
half playback and full playback as well) and will have to be in the language of the country from where
the participant arrives ( or second language of country or at last in English in according with the
organization and only in the case the singer doesn’t have in its repertory songs in different language).
The participant must be ready to perform also an international hit ( in any language he/she wants ) if
necessary ( opening concert or performance for the press or other )
The performers have to possess the copy-rights on their original song. Could be produced on a CD
to be sold for benefit or/and for worldwide promotional purposes.
Each nation can have max 3 participants in contest. The performers have to be at age between 16
and 38. In groups and bands – the average age counts
Awards:
1°place : Statuette - Money Prize* - Artistic production** of a value of 6000,00 euros
( It will consist in a production of digital EP with one original song composed specially for the artist and videoclip )
2°place : Computer netbook or tablet
3° place : Digital Photocamera
Radio award, Journalists award, Audience award, Sponsor award.
All the finalists will receive diploma of festival and various gadgets .
*It will depends on participants number. Not less then 500,00 euros if the contestants will be up to 16 and
until 2000,00 euros in case of 17 or more contestants. The money prize will be payed through bank transfer
after 15 days of the end of the contest.
** To be agreed with the organization and to be produced in Italy ( accommodation for the artist will be for free
all during the recording sessions and video shooting time)
Music Production will be an alternative to the money prize
HOW TO ENTRY:
All finalists that will pass the first selection should send via email

1. Application Form and Contract for authors right
( Agreement Form from the authors of the original song with their authentic signatures)
2. Biography of the singer, 2 recent photos ( in addition promotional material as videoclip,poster will
be accepted and considered as part of promotion
3. Mp3’s high quality of the original song - full and half playback and . and international hit - full and
half playback - The song must not exceed 4 minutes
4. Two copies of the original lyrics in native language and english translation
5. Entry fee - EUR 175 ( not refundable trough paypal, western union or bank transfer )
Being a festival that arises under the auspices of the W AFA (World Association of Festivals and
Artists), all participants, not yet WAFA members, wishing to join this association will have a discount
on entry fee of Festival of 35 euros . Money that can be used only to pay the annual membership fee
WAFA ( 70 euros in total ).
Deadline for applications JULY 1,th 2014 - Promotional materials are not returnable
Jury: The competition is to be judged by an International Jury selected by the Canzoni dal mondo
Organizing Committee.
All jury members will not vote for own countries (President of Jury except)
COSTS COVERED BY THE CONTEST ORGANIZERS:
The " Canzoni dal m ondo" International M usic Festival takes on its account the
accommodation, meals (as scheduled) and internal transport ( from/to Aiport, train stations of Naples
) during the festival days for the participant :
August,11: arrival day and welcome dinner
August,12: breakfast and dinner
August,13: breakfast and departure
All additional guests who would like to visit the festival ( accompanying PR- person,family,friends
dancers,manager, etc) have to pay for the same conditions the sum of 150,00 euros. This sum must
be transferred in advance (via paypal, western union or bank transfer) because being high season the
Festival organization has the need to reserve the accommodation in advance. Please, inform us about
the number of the guests in advance. All singers/accompanying persons will live in Hotel 3 or 4 stars
and will be accommodated in double/triple room. The sponsors of your travel to Italy, if such, will be
announced in the advertising material and publications of the Festival.

ORGANIZER’S RIGHT:
1. The exclusive right to broadcast and to permit others to broadcast the Festival.
2. The exclusive right to produce and distribute all types of contest audio and video
materials (records, CD's, cassettes, documentary, films and videotapes) of the
Festival.
3. The right to use and permit others to use any of the promotional material submitted
by the applicant.
4. The "Canzoni dal mondo" International Music Festival will not pay any artistic
fee for the performance.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANTS:
- The participant must communicate until JULY 15th 2014 it’s flight schedule. The penalty
is the exclusion from the festival . In this case the Organization will be free to choose a
different participant ;
- The participants will respect the program of the festival;
- All the festival activities ( gala concert , press conference ..etc.. ) will take precedence over
any other activities;
· Any press interview (newspaper, TV, radio) will be cleared through the festival press office,
and will take place only with the agreement of organization;

1. Subject of the contract:
Art. (1) The CLIENTS concede gratuitously the rights of the song ..............................................

Art. (2) The CLIENTS are obligated to carry out the entrusted by the PRINCIPAL actions.
2. Rights and obligations of the principal
Art. (3) The PRINCIPAL has the right to produce and distribute audio and video materials connected with the song only as a part of
International Festival of Pop Music “Canzoni dal mondo “ all over the world, with no limits in time.
Art. (4) The PRINCIPAL possesses the right to broadcast or permit others to broadcast the song only as a part of the program of the
International Festival of Pop Music “Canzoni dal mondo “
Art. (5) The PRINCIPAL does not pay fees to the authors and the performers for using the song as a part of the program of the
International Festival of Pop Music “ Canzoni dal mondo “
Art. (6) The PRINCIPAL is obligated to use the song, only if it is presented as a part of the program of the International Festival of Pop
Music “ Canzoni dal mondo “ or as a reportage from the same Festival.
3. Rights and obligations of the clients
Art. (7) The CLIENTS are obligated to provide the song to the PRINCIPAL recorded on CD.
Art. (8) The CLIENTS give their agreement to the PRINCIPAL to use the song, to broadcast or to permit others to broadcast the song, to
produce and distribute audio and video material connected with the song as a part of the Festival’s program all over the world, with no
limits in time.
Art (9) The CLIENTS has no financial pretentions to the PRINCIPAL for using of the song as a part of the Festival’s program .
Art. (10) The CLIENTS have to read the content of the contract and fully agree the conditions.
4. Additional clauses
Art. (11) Both sides will settle any future disagreement arisen in the process of the execution of the herewith contract according to their
previous agreement, but in case it is impossible - according to the law.
This contract has been made in two copies for both sides.
