DCV/CMT/13DCLC101 Oct14 INTEGRATED HEADQUARTERS MINISTRY OF DEFENCE (NAVY) DIRECTORATE OF CLOTHING AND VICTUALLING MINUTES OF THE PREBID CONFERENCE FOR PROCUREMENT OF SHOES BLACK NON –SLIP (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ) 1. A prebid conference regarding tender no. DPR/147020 dated 11 Sep 14 , for procurement of shoes black nonslip (PEP) was held at Room No.217, DII Wing, Sena Bhawan at 1100 Hrs on 09 Oct 14 and was attended by: (a) Cmde K.Kaushik PDCV (Chairman) (b) Shri BL Jatav, NSO JDCV(Indentor Rep) (c) Lt Cdr K. Animesh DDPRO(IT) (d) Lt Cdr A. Chaturvedi DDCV(S&D) (e) Sh Arvind Kumar M/s Bawa Overseas ,Agra (f) Sh P.Mehani M/s GNM Footwear 2. At the outset, the Chairman welcomed everybody attending the conference and thanked the vendors for making themselves available for the conference. JDCV(CMT) thereafter, stated the primary reason for the prebid conference is to provide a forum wherein the procedures/regulations/scope laid down in the RFP can be explained to everybody on a common platform. 3. As no prior agenda points were received from any vendor, the house was opened for queries and the discussions on the queries/clarifications are enumerated in the succeeding paragraphs : (a)Sample of Shoes black non –slip (PPE) : Rep of M/s Bawa Overseas ,Agra requested to show the sample of shoes black nonslip (PPE) and same was shown to him. (b)Variation in shade : Rep of M/s GNM Footwear asked if there is minor variation in material of shoes black nonslip (PPE) is acceptable. DDCV(S& D) clarified that tender sample with minor variation can be submitted along with tender, however bulk supply to be made as per specification of item. 4. There being noother points, the Chairman concluded the conference by reiterating that no amendment to the RFP is required. 5. This issue with the approval of the Chairman.
