LAUNCHING POTATOEUROPE 2014
Dear Exhibitor,
After Belgium, France and the Netherlands, in
2014 it will once again be Germany’s turn to host
the central meeting place for the European potato
industry. From 3 - 4 September 2014 expert visitors
at the Bockerode Estate near Hanover will be able
to find answers to all questions surrounding modern potato production and processing. The focus
will be on the areas of breeding, fertilizing, plant
protection, machinery and equipment for production and processing, and trade.
The event is being organized by DLG in cooperation with the Union der Deutschen Kartoffelwirtschaft (UNIKA) - Germany’s potato industry
association.
As new project manager, I would like to extend
a warm invitation to you to present your services
and products to a broad expert public at PotatoEurope.
Let us first take a look back at PotatoEurope 2010.
The key figures at a glance:
●
92 exhibitors from 18 countries, an increase
of 6% over 2006
●
8,200 expert visitors from altogether 46 countries, including 30% from outside Germany
●
23 ha of exhibition space showing the
innovative diversity of the potato sector
PotatoEurope has thus become well established
in Germany too following the initial event in
2006.
For the coming year we invite all members of the
value chain to the next highlight in the industry.
Cultivate your new varieties on our trial fields.
Present your innovations on the Campus site and
in the machinery demonstrations. And join us in
welcoming the expected 10,000 potato experts
from Germany and all over the world.
Take part in shaping this top event for the potato
sector together with us and provide impulses for
progress!
We look forward to a successful
PotatoEurope 2014 with you.
Yours
Wilfried Wolf
