NATURE OF BUSINESS:
Potato processing Plant for making FROZEN FRENCH
FRIES and POTATO FLAKES and Project of Processing GREEN PEAS & Seasonal vegetables
such as sweet corn, baby corn, cauliflower, carrot etc.
No. of Plants :
a. Frozen French Fries Plant with the capacity of 600 tons a month finished product.
Entire Plant is imported and is from PPM Sweden.
b. Plant of Potato Flakes with the capacity of 250 tons a month finished product. Entire
Plant is imported and is from GMF Gouda, Holland.
c. Plant of Frozen Green Peas & Seasonal Vegetables with the capacity of 1200 tons a
month.
d. IQF Plant is imported and from Frigoscindia, Sweden
Raw Material :
Processing Potato : Plenty available in around Jalandhar/Potato use of one crop of winter for
production & storage.
Potato Flakes
Average Seasonal rate of Potato for Potato Flakes is Rs 6.00/Kg. During
December to April.
Cost Price per kg of Flake is Rs.68 on the normal regular run of
Potato Plant to 80% capacity of Potato Flakes.
Selling price is between Rs.90 to Rs.110 per Kg. ex-factory.
Frozen French Fries
Average price of Processing Potato for French Fries is Rs. 8-9 per kg.
through out the year, availability from Gujarat & Punjab in plenty.
Cost Price of Frozen French Fries is Rs.51 per kg. on the normal
regular run to 80% capacity. Selling price is between Rs.75 to Rs. 80
per Kg.
Green Peas & Vegetables :
Available in plenty from Hoshiarpur Area , Amritsar , Samana and
Patiala.
Average Cost Price of Frozen Green Peas is Rs.30 per Kg. in peak
season and normal run with utilization of I.Q.F. capacity i.e. 2 ton per
hour.
Selling Price is Rs. 42 per kg bulk packing and Rs. 60 per kg in retail
packing. Selling Price depends upon the production of the crop in the
season & availability.

SECURITIES TO SAFEGAURD THE INVESTMENTS :
A.
Land, Building & Plant & Machinery with Cold Storages in the premises of the Project
with all utilities equipments. Valuing as on date more than 80 Cr.
SWOT ANALYSIS:
STRENGTH : Excellent Domestic & Foreign Market for above three products and all plant &
machinery are imported and setup according to European standards.
Demand in domestic market is very high of Potato Flakes due to change in economic conditions
& due to increase of demand of Namkeen in India.
First unit in north India of Frozen French Fries & Potato Flakes with Holland & Sweden
Machines. Frozen French Fries are in big demand in retail packs in chain stores in A & B class
cities due to awareness given to children & young generation by McDonald.
Project has achieved the Quality Standards and have supplied its products to all big customers
in India including McCain.
Previously the Company had tied up with McCain for French Fries, with Haldiram (A Big Group
of Namkeen Manufacturer) for Potato Flakes and with Field fresh, a subsidiary of Airtel, for
supply of Sweet Corns / Baby Corns .
Demand of Potato Flakes in India is more than 35000 MT a year and there is a total supply of
15000 to 18000 MT as such there is still a gap of 20000 MT. a year.
So far as Frozen French Fries is Concerned there is turnover of more than 100 Crore a year
only in Delhi & NCR .
The Investment in this project is fully secured due to its great viability and asset value and one
can earn 100 Crores in 5 years. Also if the shares of the project are floated in the share market
with a brand which will also create easy liquidity as and when investors want to encash equity
into ready cash.
