Annual Meeting:

Moving away doesn’t mean moving her membership.
Linda Hicks, originally from Sodus, Michigan, was already a long time member
of United Federal Credit Union when she moved to Peachtree City, Georgia. An
employee of Chick-fil-A, her positive experience with the credit union erased any
idea of using another financial institution.
Are you interested in running for the board?
“There was no reason to close my account”, said Linda. “I did most of my
banking through PowerLink already. Plus, most of the institutions here were
charging for online banking, unlike United.”
You can run for office if you are a member in good standing and
submit a nominating petition signed by 500 members (NCUA Bylaws
requirement). Petitions are available by contacting Jorja Ritter at
269-982-4761. Deadline for completed petitions is January 10, 2008.
Nominations will not be accepted from the floor.
Since her move to Georgia, Linda has financed a new car and her condominium
through United, all via telephone. “On the rare occasions when I need to speak
with someone I just dial up the Call Center and I get the help I need.” To top it
off, Linda also has kept her United Federal Credit Union Visa card. “I love the
Rewards Points”, Linda claims.
Our current Board: John Steinke – Chairman, Bob Johnson – Vice Chairman, Jim Rothfuchs
– Treasurer, J.B. Hoyt – Secretary, Dennis Ciboch – Director, Jim Converse - Director, Jerry
Guinane - Director, Patricia Hecker – Director, Mike Hildebrand - Director, Roger Kluge
– Director, Anson Lovellette – Director, John Rajewski – Director, Pamela Rogers – Director.
Many times we hear about members closing their account because they’re moving
away. Here’s another example of why United Federal Credit Union benefits stay
with you no matter where you live.
