FIRST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
AND WATERMELON HARVESTING AT ECI HOPE CITY CHURCH SO IT IS HARVEST TIME IN INDIA !!
Many watermelons were harvested on March 9, 2014 in Hope City and were sold to the
congregation members of ECI as part of fund raising for Indian Missionary Movement.

RECENT CHURCH DEDICATIONS
ECI Jambukudia church in Jharkhand has been constructed with the generous support of
Bishop Sundar Singh and it was dedicated by Bishop family on March 13, 2014.
ECI Ambade church in Jharkhand has been built in memory of Dr Christopher and dedicated
by Bishop Raja Singh in February, 2014.
ECI Samandae church in Jharkhand has been built in memory of Rev Shantha Kumar and it
was dedicated by Mrs Sheeba Shantha Kumar during the month of February, 2014.

ECI Kottaravedu church has been built in partnership with Goosung Church, South Korea
and dedicated by Rev Choi Jin on March 4, 2014.
ECI Pallikonda church has been built with the support of Masan Central Church of South
Korea and dedicated by Bishop Sundar Singh and Dr Moses Kim on March 19, 2014.
ECI Marikutti church in
Jharkhand has been built
and dedicated through the
generous contribution of
Mr J Selvam’s family from
Tamabaram IMM branch
during February 2014.

and
dedicated

sponsorship of ECI

RECENT DEDICATIONS ….
Parsonage at ECI Minjur church was dedicated by Bishop-President for the glory of God
and for the usage of pastor family.
Congregation members of ECI Kilpauk contributed liberally for the construction and
dedication of hostel building in ECI Dangakapu Mission School, Jharkhand
Seminar for External
Students in MTSC
Special one day seminar was organized for the external students of Madras Theological
Seminary & college on March 8, 2014 on the topic “Homiletics”.

CHURCH BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
Dr J L Williams visited the new ECI church building construction in Ekanampet,
Kanchipuram. This church building is supported by the family members of Jimmy Byrd on

Dr J L Williams visited ECI - Church of the New Directions, Ernavoor, Chennai on March 9,
2014 and encouraged the congregation members through the word of God .

SOME OF THE RECENT ACTIVITIES
Mumbai Land Registration
God has opened up the way to buy a land for Mumbai Diocese which will also serve as head quarter for
ECI North West ministries. This two and half acre of vacant land was registered on March 6, 2014.
Prayer Guide Release
ECI Prayer & Revival Department director
Rev Dr Kingsley has published a “Prayer
Guide” for the year 2014 in English and
Tamil. This prayer guide was blessed and
dedicated by Bishop-President for the
benefit of prayer warriors on February 8,
2014. Prayer guide book includes prayer
concerns about evangelism, church
planting, missionary pioneer work, welfare
of partners, national growth, rulers of the
nation, etc.
Tailoring School Graduation
Seventh graduation ceremony was organized for the graduates at Annai Mangalam Memorial
Tailoring Institute in Rajapokra, Jharkhand. All the graduates were given a tailoring machine
which can fetch them needed fund for smooth functioning of their families.

PRAYER AND PRAISE POINTS
1. Praise God for the family members of ECI
Saidapet Mrs Angel Sam & Mrs Kalyani Ammal
who has donated needed funds to the IMM
Chairman for building two churches in Jharkhand.
2. Praise God for the active youth members of
ECI Kodungaiyur church who have come forward
to
support
a
missionary
through
Indian
Missionary Movement. Pray that God would
touch many more youth members lives to
contribute for the mission of God.
3. Praise God for the contribution made by ECI
Kattupakkam church towards building a church in
the mission field through Indian Missionary
Movement. Pray that all the churches would
establish their own daughter churches through the
pioneering evangelistic work.
4. Pray for the parliament election 2014 that
religious frenetic, criminals may not get elected to
the parliament and that there will be religious
freedom for one and all to practice and propagate
their faith after the new government is formed.
5. Pray for the exams of Bible School and Seminary students who are writing college
and university examined courses during March and April 2014.
6. Fifty nine Chennai Diocesan pastors are having their transfers this year. Pray for
the smooth transition and relocation of pastors and their families in the new church
congregation. Pray that the Lord will continue to use them mightily in their new
positions.
