Challenger Listed Investments is a division of Challenger Limited, an investment management firm managing in excess of $33 billion
in assets. Bunzl is a leading supplier of business to business consumable products in Australasia. As an international company, they
operate in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and employ over 12,000 people.
FDC were given the exciting opportunity, through Challenger, to design and construct a distribution warehouse and office facility
comprising of approximately 18,000sqm of warehouse storage and 1,700sqm of office to service Bunzl’s continuing growth.
The warehouse was constructed to exacting standards with generous hardstand areas and incorporated hi-bay storage racking linked
to conveyor systems for fast product circulation.
The integrated fitout of the administration offices provides a modern and elegant workplace for the Bunzl staff, complete with offices,
workstations, meeting rooms and breakout spaces.
FDC worked in full collaboration with the project team, including Challenger as Developer, Bluestone as Project Manager and Bunzl
as Tenant, to achieve all key project objectives and goals. The project was successfully handed over by the original project completion
date despite numerous delays on site due to contamination and inclement weather.
