Position Description:
Manages all aspects of Human Resources and Security in a multi-site, geographically dispersed, government
contracting workforce. Overall HR responsibility includes: benefits administration, employee relations and
conflict resolution, in and out-processing of employees, recruitment and retention, timesheets and payroll,
performance management, Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance, workers compensation, corporate policy
creation and management, compliance and ethics, event planning, and other human resources duties.
Overall Facility Security Officer (FSO) responsibility includes: processing and maintaining personnel security
clearances through JPAS and eQIP systems, processing employee CAC badge applications through
government contracting and security personnel, requesting letters of authorization (LOA) through SPOT
system for employees traveling OCONUS, processing visit requests, as necessary, for cleared meetings and
conferences, remaining knowledgeable and up-to-date with DSS requirements and courses and conducting
annual DSS facility security audits with assigned DSS representative.
Required Job Skills:






Knowledge and experience in selecting and administering company benefit programs.
Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and strategies and streamlining HR
practices and processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Ability to
interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Familiarity and experience with various government contracting accounting/timekeeping systems
and payroll processing systems.
Demonstrated ability to identify and lead significant change initiatives.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) and/or Assistant Facility
Security Officer (AFSO). Knowledge of the JPAS, eQIP, and SPOT systems.
Position Requirements:



Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (may be substituted with an
Associate’s degree and 4+ years of experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles, with a track record of
success.
