yoga, etc.

Males, 14-18 years of age

Short term consequence
while reflecting on behaviors

Individualized Case Plans &
Programming

YLS/CMI Treatment/Case
Management plan should
accompany resident upon
intake (if available)
Life Skills

Cognitive-behavioral change
lessons for adolescents,
which includes cognitive
restructuring, social skill
development and problem
solving skills

Carey Guides used to assist
in case plan management
SECURE DETENTION
Community Work
Service

All Secure Residential Program
Residents are expected to
participate in Community Work
Service

Residents should supply their
own clothes and shoes. All tools
and safety attire will be provided

Residents will obtain “real world”
job experience
Target Population

Adolescent males and
females between the ages
of 10-18 years of age

Adolescents on Extended
Juvenile Jurisdiction (EJJ)
may be held until their 21st
birthday, with advanced
approval

All Adolescents must meet
detention criteria
