The Banque centrale du Luxembourg, member of the Eurosystem, has currently an opening for: MACROECONOMIST (m/f) Full time (ref.: ER1/033/14) Main tasks and responsibilities: Within the Business Cycle Section of the “Economics and Research Department”, you will be entrusted with the following tasks: • • • Monitoring and assessing economic developments in Luxembourg, including business cycle dynamics and public finances Contribution to notes, reports, briefing materials and BCL publications Monitoring the activities of international institutions such as the European Commission or the IMF Qualifications, experience and skills: • • • • • • Master’s degree in economics Strong understanding of macroeconomics Ability to analyse data, including application of quantitative techniques Excellent command of French and English, both written and oral.
