Focused on contemporary art, Arendt & Medernach currently exhibits the
artworks of Valérie Belin. To mark the occasion of this special exhibition,
guided tours will be offered. Children’s programme also available.
“The mother of art is architecture” was the guiding principle behind the
construction of the head office of BGL BNP Paribas. Embedded in a garden
usually closed to the public, works of well-known artists complete the
architectural landscape.

Recent years have seen rapid growth in the commitment
to private art collections held by companies and
institutions in Luxembourg. The Private Art Kirchberg
initiative was born out a common desire to share these
hidden treasures with the public. Once every other year,
participating companies and institutions open their
doors to art and architecture lovers for one special day,
transforming their buildings into a public art gallery that
stretches across the entire Kirchberg plateau. Spend an
afternoon discovering art in this unique setting, and
experience the newest works of art, photography and
architecture on display.

The contemporary art collection – paintings, sculptures, works on paper,
photographs – characterizes the impressive building of Deutsche Bank
Luxembourg which was built by the famous German architect Gottfried Böhm.

The EIB’s art collection comprises some 580 works of art, encompassing
paintings, photographs, works on paper, sculptures, installations and
site-specific commissions. The collection focuses on contemporary works
by leading or emerging European artists.

The KNEIP’art Collection is composed of over 100 works mainly centred
on creations from the past 50 years, with a strong pop art orientation.

L’initiative Private Art Kirchberg est née d’un désir
commun de partager ces trésors cachés avec le grand
public. Tous les deux ans, les entreprises et institutions
participantes ouvrent leurs portes aux amateurs d’art
et d’architecture le temps d’une journée, transformant
ainsi leurs locaux en une galerie d’art publique qui
s’étend sur tout le plateau du Kirchberg. Venez profiter
de ce moment d’exception pour découvrir de nouveaux
chefs-d’œuvre, photographies et architectures à votre
disposition dans un écrin unique.
In 2004, the Pictet Bank decided to associate its long history with an art
collection of the first order. Cherishing its Swiss roots, the Bank opted for a
fine selection that covers Swiss artists who are representative of a range of
movements and trends in the art of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
Today the Collection counts over 550 works of art.
Contemporary art and its values play a significant role in the world
we live in: it is global in nature, it transcends all barriers and reveals
new perspectives. At UBS, we believe we should share those values
and ignite our passion of art with others. This is why we make our art
collection accessible to the public.
Architecture aims to create an occasion and a framework for encounters
in the interests of the entire society, not just the bank.

DekaBank’s international art collection focuses on avant-garde trends and
the exploration of new and non-established approaches to art.

Allen & Overy’s art collection is dedicated to the promotion of international
and contemporary video art projects. This year Allen & Overy will present
its complete collection comprised of the following artists : Julika Rudelius,
David Brognon & Stéphanie Rollin, Mark Lewis and a newly acquired piece
from the international artist Mircea Cantor.

In den vergangenen Jahren haben sich immer mehr
Luxemburger Unternehmen und Institutionen für private
Kunstsammlungen engagiert. Die Initiative Private Art
Kirchberg entstand aus dem gemeinsamen Wunsch,
diese verborgenen Schätze der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich
zu machen. Alle zwei Jahre öffnen die teilnehmenden
Unternehmen und Institute an einem besonderen Tag
ihre Türen für Liebhaber von Kunst und Architektur.
Sie verwandeln ihre Räumlichkeiten in eine öffentliche
Kunstgalerie, die sich über den gesamten Kirchberg
erstreckt. Verbringen Sie einen Nachmittag in dieser
einmaligen Umgebung und erleben Sie die neuesten hier
ausgestellten Werke aus Kunst, Fotografie und Architektur.
