Policy-relevant presentations:
 2014 – presentation of my research work in education in Luxembourg at the “Researchers’ Days 2014”,
Luxembourg; with a focus on gender differences and student achievement in PISA 2012;
 2015 – workshop presentation at the “Diversity and multilingualism in early childhood education and
care”, organized with the occasion of Luxembourg having the Presidency of the Council of the
European Union, the Luxembourg Ministry of Education, Children and Youth (MENJE); the title of the
workshop presentation was “The challenges of ECEC in contributing to the child development
outcomes in an multilingual environment”;
 2015 – presentation of the evaluation framework of the MathemaTIC project to the Ministry of
Education, Children and Youth; as a member of the evaluation team.
 2016 – presentation of the MathemaTIC project and its implementation framework in primary schools
in Luxembourg to the Diaspora conference, Timisoara, Romania.
