Parents may email a baby picture of their child, along with a short encouraging message to [email protected]. These pictures/messages will appear in color on a 1/4 page in the school yearbook. The cost is $10; checks made out to Montana City School or cash should be given to Miss Murphy, the yearbook editor. Pictures will be accepted now through March 1. Pictures will be returned to students the second week of March. ** Please note** This picture is not related to the slide show for 8th Grade Celebration. Confirmations are due back February 19. Eighth Grade High School Registration All high school registration forms are due February 25. Parent nights for Helena High School will be held on February 24 at Helena Middle School at 6:30 p.m. and at East Valley Middle School in East Helena at 7 p.m. on February 25. Parents of seventh and eighth grade students are invited to Jefferson High School Parent Night on Thursday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. at JHS. Free appetizers will be prepared and served by JHS’s award-winning ProStart class at 6:30 p.m., followed by school tours, question and answer sessions and opportunities to visit and ask questions of current JHS students. There will be raffles for JHS activity passes, t-shirts, Panther Bucks gift cards and baked goods. Transportation will be provided. Bus will pick up at 5:30 p.m. at Montana City Store, 5:45 p.m. at Clancy Post Office and 5:55 p.m. at Jefferson City Post Office. Return transportation will also be provided. Middle School Winter Activity Day On Friday, February 21, Montana City School middle school students will participate in our annual Winter Activity Day. Sixth grade students will ice skate and participate in activities at Montana Wild. Parents who wish to have their student wear a helmet while skating should contact either Mr. Maxwell, Miss Bogen or Mrs. Flathers. Seventh grade students will travel to Moose Creek Cabin in the Tenmile Creek/Rimini area where they will take part in several activities coordinated by the school and the Montana Discovery Foundation.
