The Preliminary Round of our SPHIKV SMA
(Grade 10-12) Boys Basketball Tournament was

held on Saturday in the Eagles’ Nest (7th Floor Gym)
and continues through the week. Thanks to Mr Erik,
Mr Chris, Mr DJ, and Mr Mike and everyone
involved in this tournament.
We want to thank Mr
Benjie for his leadership
and members of the Arts
Festival
organizing
committee (Rosma, Erna,
Garry,
Mega,
Kari,
Grasyntha, Budi, Roselita,
Megan, Shirley, Tong Wu,
Yen Yu, Audrey, Filia, Daud, Melissa, Zefan and
SOAR students). We also want to thank all staff
members, parents and students for their support of
this event held this past Friday. The many hours of
preparation by our students, teachers and parents
who taught the dances for the cultural show were
commendable and much appreciated. Our PAG and
CPR (Ibu Dian, Ibu Grace, Ibu Arlene, Ibu Vita, Ibu
Tanya, Ibu Vero, Ibu Ida, Ibu Cianti, Mrs Jocie, Mrs
Mabel, Ibu Alana, Ibu Susy, Mrs Lee, and the
Korean parents committee) also worked hard on the
Arts Fest day to sell food/drinks and lead some
activities. It was an exciting event and everyone
enjoyed the performances and art work displays.
Parents are reminded that the school will be
closed on Wednesday due to parliamentary
elections.
Make sure that you check the calendar of events so
that you are aware of all the school events this week
and throughout the month.

Sports Update
Sentul Sports Fest SWIMMING RESULTS
On Saturday, 29 March, a group of KV Eagles Swim
Team members represented our school at the Sentul
Sports Fest. This was another great opportunity for our
young swimmers to gain some valuable experience.
We
also
had
two
medal-winners!
CONGRATULATIONS to Brayden Tioanda (Grade
1) on finishing 2nd Place in the Grade 1-3 Boys
Freestyle and to Ju Won Park (Grade 3) on finishing
3rd Place in the Grade 1-3 Girls Freestyle.
The Term 3 Parent Teacher Conference (PTC) will
take place on Wednesday, 23 April. Please note the
following PTC schedule:


SPHI-KV SMA Basketball Tournament, 5-10 April
(UPDATE):
The Boys portion of this tournament tipped off on
Saturday. The KV Eagles Boys Basketball team did a
wonderful job, winning all three games on Saturday
and advancing to the Championship game vs. AIS that
will be held on Thursday, 10 April, at 5:30pm in the
Eagles’ Nest (7-Floor Gym). We will also be hosting
the 3rd/4th Place game on Thursday at 4:00pm. We
would love to have you come out and cheer for your
Eagles!
*Note: Due to a lack of teams, the Girls portion of the
tournament has been postponed. We hope to bring in
enough teams to host a girls tournament on Saturday,
12 April. More info will be posted asap.

K-G5: no student day; PTC times will be
given to parents (15 minutes length),
between 7 am -3.45pm;
G6: regular Wednesday classes (12.30
pm dismissal). PTC by appointment only,
starting from 1.15pm until 3.45pm.
G7-G12: regular Wednesday classes
(12.30 pm dismissal). PTC begins at
1.15pm and ends at 3.45pm, G7-12 parents
may come anytime at the above time.
