Admission Application for Bachelor and Diploma Programs
The University of Sharjah (UOS) warmly welcomes you and congratulates you on successfully completing your high school studies. We are pleased that you have selected the University of Sharjah, which will offer you the best of academic programs, services,
and student activities aimed at developing your knowledge, aptitude, and practical, social and athletic skills.
Please read the following instructions very carefully before filling the application
1. Students shall fill in the application form personally, and be responsible for the integrity of the information filled therein. Incomplete application will not be considered.
2. Students are responsible for completing all admission procedures by the deadlines, in accordance with the instructions and the
academic calendar. The University is not responsible for procedures not completed by students on time, which might reflect negatively on their enrollment at the University. And all students are required to visit the University’s website (www.sharjah.ac.ae) to
learn about the dates and locations of the admission exams, TOEFL exam, and personal interviews as well as to see their results.
3. Meeting admission requirements, submitting the application Form and receiving an ID number does not in any way mean that an
applicant is admitted to the University. Students are required to pay a reservation fee after meeting specific criteria on a competitive basis, in accordance with University policy.
4. For Medicine and Dentistry colleges: All applicants will be competing for a limited number of seats available annually in each
program after paying a reservation seat fees.
5. Reservation fees are nonrefundable if the student withdraws or does not enroll in the University, and are applied toward tuition
fees if the student enrolls in his/her program.
6. Admission is granted for the semester to which the student is applying. A student’s admission will be cancelled if the student does
not enroll.
7. New students are allowed to postpone their admission for a maximum of one semester for all programs with the exception of
College of Fine Arts & Design, where the postpone is for one year, after fulfilling the required fees & submitting the form to the
Admission Office before the semester starts.
8. Note that Paragraph (7) is applies to all colleges with the exception of the Medicine and Dentistry Colleges, which follow different
rules & regulations, and admission postpone is not allowed in both programs.
9. The University does not accept the submission of the original High School Certificate. Students are required to provide certified
copies by the proper authorities.
10. All documents submitted for admission to the University are considered the property of the University. Students are not permitted
to request any document from their personal file once it has been submitted to a staff member.
11. The University is not responsible for scholarship applications. Students are required to contact scholarship providers on their own.
12. Applications received after the admission period will not be considered.
13. The University reserves the right to increase the fees every year.

Second - Additional requirements for International students:
1. � Document proves that the student completed 12 years of
school.
2. � Document proves that the High School Certificate is
accepted by the government universities in the country
from which the certificate was obtained.or equivalent
certificate from Ministry of Education in UAE.
Fourth - Additional requirements for Transfer students:
1. � Certified copy of the Transcript.
2. � Certified copy of detailed courses description.
3. � Accreditation letter from the Ministry of Higher Education
& Scientific Research in the UAE (For the student who
studied outside UAE).
