Admission Notice
Registrations for admission are going on in Kendriya Vidyalaya,BHU,Varanasi in following classes with effect
from 10-02-14 to 10-03-14. Interested Parents/Guardians seeking admission of their ward for the session 2014-15
may contact the vidyalaya office for registration forms. Admissions in KV are not restricted to the Central
Government Employee only and now open to all. Only certain priorities have been laid down as per which
children of different categories will get priority in admission.

As per admission guidelines. In class I, under RTE
act 2009, 25% of seats are reserved for
SC(15%),ST(7.5%) and other disadvantaged group
and weaker section (2.5%). 3% seats will be
horizontally reserved for handicapped children in
each category.

Date of birth certificate
Attested copy of date of birth certificate in prescribed
proforma issued by the authority competent to register birth.
This include certificate from Notofied area council/

service records of defence personnel. For other classes, the
date of birth recorded in the transfer certificate issued by a
school recognized by the state education department would be

Selection method for class IX Based on the result of admission test in the following
subjects: Hindi,English,Math,Social Science & Science.
Admission to class X & XII
Subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions, availability of
vacancies and consideration by the honorable Deputy
Commisssioner of the region.
Fresh admission would be made after accommodating all
eligible student of the KVs.
