For work placements from 1 August 2014. • Start date of placement • Actual end date of placement • Mode of placement (internal/external) • Employer identifier (only for Traineeships/Supported Internships) EFA Work Placements • An external work placement is time spent with an external employer, external to the learning environment and at an external site. • A simulated environment in an education institution, such as a college restaurant run by an external organisation, or experience in a collegebased crèche that is a commercial enterprise do not count as an external work placement and should be recorded as internal placements • See EFA guidance note published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/delivery-and-recording-ofwork-experience Traineeships • Record programme aim and Programme type=24 • For 19+ Traineeships only 1 work experience learning aim recorded (even if crosses teaching year boundary) • Add work placement records from 1 August for each placement • Must be external placements and include the Employer identifier Continuing learners from 2013/14 • Create a programme aim record – start date is earliest start of LDM323 aims • Continue to record LDM323 • All aims carried forward into 2014/15 if any LDM323 aim still open Online delivery • The proportion of the curriculum design (scheme of work) delivered by computer mediated activity rather than by a lecturer. FAM Type FAM Code Description POD 1 0% POD 2 1-9% • Replaces face to face lecturing time and not time spent on researching information on the web. POD 3 10-24% POD 4 25-49% POD 5 50-74% • Required for all Adult skills classroom funded aims with start dates from 1 Aug POD 6 75-99% POD 7 100% • Not used for funding or audited in 2014/15 See Provider support manual for further information Destination and Progression • Will collect details of what the learner does next after finishing current programme of learning – employment / apprenticeship / further learning etc • Reported for learners who stay with provider and continue with further study as well as leavers • Can report in following year’s ILR return after learning is completed • In year after learning activity has completed, return only outcome data but not the Learner or Learning delivery records Destination and Progression • Can be sent for 13/14 finishers.
