Games Night - Sat 28 June
Our latest Florida fundraising event was our big Games Night which was
held last Saturday at the Scarborough Bowls Club.
A very successful night with tables filled by friends, family and local
community members making for lots of fun and laughter!
Congratulations to the organisers and all members for helping out with
this event.

IBCPC Festival 2014 - Sarasota
With only around 3.5 months
to go until we meet up in
Sarasota Florida for the
participatory festival it’s
getting very exciting!
The organisers have introduced some official merchandise
dragon boat gear from Double Fifth Dragon Boating based
in Vancouver, Washington. There are limited supplies and
some items are pre-order only (very limited numbers will be
available at the regatta). Paddles, seat pads, and paddle
bags with commemorative logo.
There has also been a new Festival Bulletin released
(Bulletin number 8) with lots of new information.

Walking to End Women’s Cancers
Our Snapdragon Bosom Buddy, Jane Bevan, is taking part in this year’s 2 day, 60km walk “The Weekend to End
Women’s Cancers” benefiting QIMR Berghofer and RBWH on 25th & 26th October.
