Applications are invited for contractual posts of JRF (03) and skilled worker (02) at Vilasrao
Deshmukh College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Latur, 413 512, Maharashtra. Interested
candidates have to appear with hard copy of bio-data including academic qualifications, experience,

1. Post Name: JRF (02)
Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 14,000/- for 3rd year with 10% HRA.

Qualifications:
M.Sc.
in
Agricultural
Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Mol.
Biology/Agronomy or Extension. Candidate having experience in plant tissue culture techniques
will be preferred.
2. Post name: Skilled worker (02)
Emoluments: Rs. 5,000/- per month fixed.
Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. in Agril. Biotechnology/B.Sc. Agriculture/Diploma in Agriculture.
Candidate having experience in Plant tissue culture/ Nursery & Greenhouse maintenance will be
preferred.
Project: "Development of RNAi-mediated Resistance in Sunflower against Sunflower Necrosis Virus
(SNV)".
Post Name: JRF (01)
Emoluments: Rs. 16000/-+ 10% HRA- per month for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 18,000/- + 10% HRA
for 3rd year to candidates having NET/GATE qualification. While candidate do not have NET/GATE
qualification will get Rs. 12,000/- for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 14,000/- for 3rd year with 10% HRA.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology.
Candidate having experience in Molecular Plant Virology/ Molecular Biology will be preferred.
Age limit: The candidate should be below the age of 35 years as on 30.11.2014.
Date of Walk in interview: 23/12/2014 [11.00 hrs] at office of the Vilasrao Deshmukh College of
Agricultural Biotechnology, Nanded Road, Latur 413 512, Maharashtra.
Tenure: The tenure of the above posts will be initially for 11th month. However, it may be
extended further for 2nd & 3rd year, if performance of the candidate is found satisfactory.
Candidates have to attend an interview at their own cost. No TA/DA will be provided for the
purpose.
