No temptation has overtaken you but such is common to man: and God is faithful,
who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the
temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure
it (1 Cor. 10:13).
With so many demands of raising a family and making a living who in
the world has time to also deal with the trials of this life? As if this life
wasn’t beating you down enough, you and I also have to deal with the
constant concern of whether or not our spiritual lives are measuring up.
Well in the above passage there are three key principles that we are to
remember whenever we find ourselves in the clutches of this life’s difficult
situations.
First things first, the bible wants you to know that no matter what
you are going through; ‘You are not alone.’ That’s right. There is no
situation, trial, test or circumstance that you are currently going through
that someone else has not made it through. This is good news because that
means you can use the past failures, weaknesses, strengths and wisdom of
others past in order to experience success in your present.
Secondly, the bible wants you to know that God will not allow you to
go through anything that you can’t handle. In other words the things you
cannot handle, He would not put in your life but the things you think you
cannot handle, He knows you can. That is why He allowed them into your
life. Like a parent watching their child from a distance and instead of
swooping down to rescue them, they pause to see how the child handles
themselves. Well how do we know that God has not made a mistake?
Simple, He is God. He doesn’t make mistakes. Remember the verse says He
is faithful and His faithfulness is not dependent upon your faithfulness. In
fact His faithfulness has anticipated ad still works in response to your
unfaithfulness. Take heart because not only are you not alone, but ‘God is
watching over you.’
Finally, don’t let the pain of your past or present paralyze you, don’t
let the condition of your circumstance(s) confine you but remember that in
every situation God has already prepared a way of escape, it’s just up to
you to find it. And while this escape may not rescue you from the trial, or
deliver you from your discomfort it will enable you to endure it while you
wait on God to navigate you out of it. In other words we find in this life
that when we are going through the trials of this life, we are not alone, God
is watching over you and He will make a way for YOU!

Facility Improvements
As you will notice many transformations have taken
place in the church sanctuary over the past several
months. These were made possible by generous
donations made by anonymous individuals. Without
them, these would not have been possible!

Youth Ministry
By Sis Denise Ngubeni
The KLC Youth Ministry is growing and averages 10-15 6th-12th graders
each week! Our teens are growing together in fellowship and spiritual
growth. They have chosen a group name, LBC (Led By Christ) and a
group verse, 1 Timothy 4:12. We are so thankful for the amazing things
God is doing in this ministry. In the coming months our youth will be
putting together fundraisers to try and raise the fees to attend Youth
Arctic Blast Retreat in January at Grace Adventures! They are excited at
the possibility of this experience. Please watch announcements for more
information in the coming weeks. Youth group is every Sunday at 5pm6:30pm in the KLC fellowship hall and includes dinner, fellowship and a
lesson. All 6th-12th grade girls and boys are welcome to attend! See
Brother Bambi Ngubeni with questions ([email protected]).
Praise and Worship
Can you sing? Play an instrument? Is music your way of worship to the Lord?
Not sure what to do or who to talk to? Well you’re in luck, the Praise and
Worship Team has put together an application for those who are interested in
trying out. They are available for pick up on Sundays. Please see Sis Rebecca
Nobles or Sis Theresa Bouyer or send an email to
[email protected] for more information.

Kingdom Kid’s Children Ministry
By Sis Denise Ngubeni
Our Kingdom Kids ministry is growing as we are blessed with an
increasing number of families with children attending Sunday services.
With this increase comes a continual need for volunteers to watch over
our infants and teach our toddlers - 5th graders. We have made some
changes thanks to a generous donation of some wonderful curriculum
for our toddler-5th grade classrooms. Each week your kids will be
bringing home a folder with a sheet explaining what they learned and
some activities/discussion items for you to have with them. When they
return their folder with the sheet initialed by a parent the next week, they
get a point. They also get one point for attendance. We will be having
2-3 Kingdom Kids parties each year, where the kids can spend their
points on some great prizes or gift items.
We have also made changes to our teaching model. In order to give
our children some consistency from week to week, our teachers will be
scheduled one month at a time and then off for two months. This new
schedule paired with the new curriculum will do wonderful things for our
ability to share the Word of God with our children and their families.
If you have an interest in helping in the nursery or as a monthly teacher,
please sign up on the sheet in back. Contact Sis. Denise Ngubeni
([email protected] ) with any questions.

We Believe
There is only one God who eternally exists as three persons: The Father, the Son
and the Holy Spirit. While each person within the Godhead is distinct, each
person is fully God, one in essence and purpose. We believe in a Godhead that
is represented by a tri-unity and yet there is only one God.
