John R. Kuhlmann, Jr.,

Registered Professional Engineer: Missouri, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan,
Nevada, New York, Ohio and Tennessee
Registered Structural Engineer: Illinois
Experience: After graduating from Washington University, John worked six years at a
nationally known St. Louis based architectural-engineering-planning organization, where his
duties included all phases of design supervision and project management responsibilities for
various projects sizes: bridges, bins, silos, hoppers and support structures for industrial
equipment, piping and machinery. He became a Division Manager, Chief Engineer and
Director of Architectural Design for two years at a prominent St. Louis based design/build firm
for commercial, industrial and office facilities. As the current Chairman and CEO of
Kuhlmann design Group, Inc. (KdG), he founded in 1974, Mr. Kuhlmann is responsible for the
direction of business and management facets of the firm. KdG is a full service consulting
Architectural, Interior, Engineering and Land Surveying company. The Firm is organized into
four divisions - Architecture, Interiors, Building Engineering, and Infrastructure Engineering
and Surveying. KdG offers diverse services which can be contracted for jointly, or
individually, based on project needs and client preferences. It is KdG’s responsibility to
maintain current and in depth professional knowledge within our field of experience, to
communicate with our clients in order to understand their goals, and convey to them a clear
understanding of our solutions, providing them with complete information regarding proposed
solutions and options to meet their needs and objectives. Meeting client expectations is the
driving force of KdG’s existence.
