The team undertook an organisational review and produced a report based on Ladbrokes “7-Levers of Functional Excellence” tool, grading 7 factors and 21 areas of team competence against market. Ten priority recommendations were made, focussing on those areas of highest value including: process and team restructuring to optimise a £50 million expansion programme; alignment of relationships with trading operations to increase responsiveness and communications; and better structured supplier relationships to improve capability, reduce costs and improve governance. “Excellent. The recommendations reinforced some views, dispelled others and gave fresh ideas… which we are already putting into action” Chris Robson, Group Property & Procurement Director
