YOUTH MINISTRY FUN AND FELLOWSHIP Our children are constantly challenged to conform to the world – from day-to-day peer pressure in a world that constantly changes the rules on what is and isn’t “cool” – to the overwhelming influences of social media. It’s satisfying to know that our GSMBC Youth Pastor, Stefan Skinner, along with the Children and Youth Staff devote a lot of time and effort into offering a spiritually healthy, and fun environment for our youth and encourage opportunities for them to learn God’s plan and be transformed by the Spirit into the image of Jesus Christ for the Glory of God. This summer, those efforts were demonstrated as C.H.A.N.G.E Children’s Ministry and Da Flock Youth Ministry kicked off the summer with a trip to Stoney Creek Ranch, a non-denominational Christian Camp in New Ulm, Texas where they had “A BLAST!” as was told by Charlene Scott, Children’s Ministry Director.
