Success @ Gondwana This month’s success story of Simon Andreas, Lodge Manager of Etosha Safari Lodge I was born in South Africa on the 8th April 1972. When my parents came to Namibia, I started school at Primary school Karasburg. My highest class was grade 10 at senior Secondary school. My first job was a patrol joggie in Karasburg in 1988. My next move was Mariental in 1990 until 1995, I worked at a Rehabilitation center, a nongovernmental organization called the Bridge. I went to Okahandja and worked as a Welder for Midgard Lodge where my father was a chef at that time. I worked for two years and came back to the South. Suide Maak Vrede. The 04th December 1998, I started at Canyon Lodge as a Casual in the building department. Mr. Reinier Kronsbein who was then the manager at the Canyon Lodge inspired me. I always said to myself that I will also become a Lodge manager one day. Each staff had their assessment results discussed personally. Maria will spent time at Namushasha in July.
