SWOC analysis of the Department & future plan : Strengths: The programme has a vast scope in terms of career opportunities. Promotion of personality development of students through curricular, extra-curricular and extension activities. Emphasis on development of communication skills of students. Development of research aptitude among students through projects and classroom presentations. Personal attention and Remedial coaching for weak students. Weaknesses: Students with average or below average competencies are not able to cope up with their studies. Students have less exposure to practical life due to the theoretical orientation of the syllabus. Students are not interactive during the sessions.
