NOTICE INVITING TENDER
N.I.T. NO. : 21 OF 2014-2015/EE/MMD
Sealed rate quoted tenders in WBF 2911(ii) are invited by the Executive Engineer, Midnapore Mechanical
Division,P.H.E. Dte , Government of west Bengal for the under noted works. The Tender will be received accompanied
with the requisite Earnest Money in favour of the Executive Engineer, Midnapore Mechanical Division, P.H. Engineering
Directorate, Kharagpur. All kinds of Bank Draft/ Bank Pay Order/ D.C.R. on any Nationalized Bank may be deposited
towards the Earnest Money.

The intending tenderers will have to produce the following information / Data / Credentials / Certificate etc. to
the undersigned along with the application for obtaining permission to participate in the tender as per scheduled date and
time.
1) Certified Copy of PAN Card with last Income Tax return.
2) Certified Copy of the VAT clearance certificate with validity.
3) Certified Copy of the Professional Tax clearance certificate with validity.
4) Certified Copy of valid Trade License.
5) Certified Copy Credential of similar nature of works
The document as above will be examined in order to assess the eligibility of the applicant to participate in the tender.
On being satisfied about the eligibility, necessary permission will be granted for participation in NIT.
The tenderer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without showing any reasons.
Tender documents will be downloaded from the PHE Department website www.wbphed.gov.in or may be collected
from the office of the undersigned during office hours on production of production of permission letter issued by the
undersigned.

Each Tenderer shall submit the tender documents in a sealed cover with Name of Work, N.I.T. No. and Date,
Opening Date and Company’s Name superscribed on the cover. Labour cess will be deducted from work bill as per
existing Government Rules and Orders.
Each Tender must be accompanied with the requisite Earnest Money in favour of the Executive Engineer,
Midnapore Mechanical Division, P.H.E. Dte. under the Head – “ Revenue Deposit” deposited through Bank Draft of
scheduled Bank. No Earnest Money deposited in any other form will be accepted.
Tenderers should quote their rates on item wise in figure and words. Each page of the Tender documents must
be signed by the tenderer and all corrections should bear their initials with stamp. Tenderers who will sign on behalf of
their Company, should produce the authority of signing the tender in support of their company.
The acceptance of the tender will rest with accepting authority who does not bind himself to accept lowest offer or
all tenders received without assigning any reason thereof
