Officers retired from Bihar Administrative Services (BAS) with a
minimum service of 20 year and of level Joint Secretary or above.
OR
Officers retired from IAS
Officers retired from Bihar Administrative Services (BAS) with a
minimum service of 12 years and of level Joint Secretary or above.
OR
Officers retired from IAS
3. Other Conditions:
 The retired IAS/ BAS officers would be considered for selection on contractual basis and would be
initially appointed for a period of 3 years and may be extended subject to age limit.
 For the post of GM (Revenue) : - The retired IAS/ BAS officers would be considered for selection
on contractual basis and would be initially appointed for a period of 2 (two) years and may be
further extendable by 1 year.
c. The posts advertised are for unreserved category.
4. Compensation:
a.
For retired IAS/ BAS Officers, the pay fixation will be as per the last pay drawn minus pension.
b.
Other benefits would be applicable as per Company Rules but no terminal benefits would be
payable to retired employees except the pay mentioned at clause (b) above.
5. Age Limit:
a. GM (HR& Admin.)/ GM (Revenue)/ DGM (HR& Admin.):

Maximum age limit shall be 62 years on 31.08.2014 which can be relaxed till 64.
However, in such case appointment will be for 1 year only.
b. The contract/ period of employment will not extend beyond the age of 65 years.

website of BSPHCL i.e. www.bsphcl.bih.nic.in. No request will be entertained after the stipulated
time.
